Changes

Following a period of busyness and health challenges, I’ve now pulled back from social media and all things promotion. I must say it’s a huge relief to reconnect on a pure enjoyment level with drawing and crocheting! I’ve given myself permission to make things up as I go along, including a new tank top made out of odds and ends which you can see in the making above.

I’ve also done – another! – hare. I never get tired of drawing these magical creatures, so why not?! It’s really big and I’m looking forward to finding a vintage frame to set it off. Not sure what mount colour I’ll pick yet, but as it’s destined for the Byre which we’ve yet to decorate I will try to be patient and complement the wall colours!

Speaking of magic, the partial eclipse was truly memorable yesterday, made even more special with a perfectly timed cloud providing the big reveal! I reflected on where I was in life 27 years ago when I was lucky to witness the full eclipse. I hope you managed to enjoy this once or twice in a lifetime event wherever you are, and that you are having a magical summer whatever you are up to.

Until next time,

Anne-Louise
